Michael B. Jordan Wants to Keep Making 'Creed' Movies 'As Long as They're Good'
Much like the Rocky movies before it, the Creed series could have serious longevity.
Star Michael B. Jordan has been teasing "Creed II" lately, and he hinted that there will be even more sequels in the future. While speaking with the Toronto Sun, he made it clear that he's open to following in co-star Sylvester Stallone's footsteps and reprising his role for a long time. He said he'd be "lucky" to be playing Adonis Creed in new movies even decades from now.
"I want to keep making them as long as they're good," Jordan said. "I always want to keep my finger on the pulse. Forty two years, I mean, who knows?"
The actor might not always be as eager to get in the ring, though. He admitted that he has already seen aging take a toll.
"I'm not saying I'm old by any means, but the process of getting in shape was a bit harder for 'Creed II,'" Jordan told the Sun.
Being in shape was especially important for the upcoming film. Adonis Creed is heading into his next big fight, and it's one that has extra significance given his opponent's ties to his family. A new photo was recently released, and it shows off the intensity.
"Creed II" hits theaters Nov. 21.
