Matthew McConaughey can now preface his name with the phrase "Oscar-winning," but he'll always be the king of the rom-com to us. Don't get us wrong -- we appreciate his dramatic acting (especially those Lincoln commercials) but his rom-com work is in a class all its own.

So, in honor of the star's birthday (and with a nod to his trademark phrase), we're ranking McConaughey's contributions to the genre, from just alright to alright, alright, alright -- because, duh, he wouldn't have it any other way.
