Mark Ruffalo Pulled From 'Captain America' Sequel: 'I Don't Even Know if Hulk Will Be Back Soon'
Moviegoers are not alone in the feeling puzzled about The Hulk's vanishing act at the conclusion of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Mark Ruffalo, who plays the short-tempered hero, is also in the dark about his character's whereabouts.
"I don't even know if Hulk will be back soon," the actor reportedly revealed to Italian website BadTates.it (translated by Comingsoon.net).
In fact, he added that the disappearance is such a mystery that Marvel pulled the green giant from "Captain America: Civil War," which opens May 16, 2016. Chris Evans reprises the titular role, joined by "Avengers" costars Robert Downey Jr,Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, and more Marvel heroes.
"The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie," he reportedly said. "I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why."
