SPOILERS: Stop reading now if you haven't watched the "Game of Thrones" series finale. Or been spoiled 2000 times about every detail on Twitter and Tumblr.

If you weren't entirely pleased with how the epic series ended, you're not alone.

Talking to EW, Maisie Williams admitted she had an entirely different idea of how Arya's final scenes would play out.

Williams told EW, "I wanted Arya to kill Cersei even if it means [Arya] dies too. Even up to the point when Cersei’s with Jaime I thought [while reading the script], 'He’s going to whip off his face [and reveal its Arya]' and they’re both going to die. I thought that’s what Arya’s drive has been."

Of course, instead of perishing at the hands of Arya, Cersei died along with Jaime in the cave-in caused by Daenerys's fiery assault.

Williams said she would have loved to have one more scene with Lena Headey, who plays Cersei. "I just wanted to be on set with Lena again, she’s good fun," said.

Headey also regretted not having the final showdown that the entire series seemed to be leading up to: "I lived that fantasy until I read the script,” Headey said. "It was nothing that I had dreamt about. It was a bit of come down and you have to accept that it wasn’t to be." But, she added, "There is something poetic about the way it all happens in the end with her and Jaime."

Now that Williams has given it some thought, she's OK with the final, more hopeful note for Arya: "When The Hound asks her if she has another option, all of a sudden there are so many more things in [Arya’s] life that she can live for, that she can do. It was a shock for me because that wasn’t how I envisioned her arc going this year. Then I realized there were other things I could play, bringing Arya back to being a 16-year-old again.”

She said she never anticipated a happy ending for Arya, but, "it gave me a place to take Arya that I never thought I’d go with her again."

As she previously told The Guardian before the finale aired, her final scene was "perfect."

"I ended on the perfect scene. I was alone – shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone. But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches. [Her own speech] wasn’t something I planned, but in that moment I realized what the show meant to me."
