With Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen's new rom-com "Long Shot" due out next month, Lionsgate has released a new clip.

The two actors play a mismatched pairing, and the clip shows just how much. Her character, Charlotte, is a presidential hopeful, and his, Fred, is a struggling journalist. As they discuss their love lives -- or lack thereof -- in the clip, we see that her reasons for being single are a lot different than his.

"I mean, who wants to follow me around the world and hope I have five minutes to be affectionate?" she asks.

The footage also highlights his growing crush on her, which stems all the way back to his childhood. Watch below.

The film is directed by Jonathan Levine, and its cast also includes June Diane Raphael, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Andy Serkis, Ravi Patel, and Alexander Skarsgård.

"Long Shot" premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in March and hits theaters May 3.
