'Legion' Renewed for Season 2 by FX
Get ready for more trips to the astral plane — FX has renewed the "X-Men"-related drama "Legion" for a second season.
"Legion" follows a mutant named David Haller (Dan Stevens). The troubled young man discovers his mental disorders are manifestations of psychic powers. The drama from "Fargo" creator Noah Hawley has received middling ratings, but broad critical acclaim.
"The first season of 'Legion' was a stunning achievement," said co-president of FX programming Eric Schrier. "More than a new series, 'Legion' is a wholly original take on the super hero genre. Our thanks to Noah Hawley for taking the creative risks and shattering expectations. It's a privilege to work again with Noah, his producing partners, the outstanding cast and our partners at Marvel Television on another season of 'Legion.'"
The show is airing the sixth of eight episodes tonight. "Legion" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
