'Legion' Creator Noah Hawley Is Developing a Doctor Doom Movie
"Legion" creator Noah Hawley ended his Comic-Con panel with a big announcement Thursday: He's working on a Doctor Doom movie.
"I'll just say two words. The first one is 'Doctor' and the next one is 'Doom,'" he told the crowd.
We don't know anything else about the project, except we anticipate it won't be anywhere as mindblowingly trippy as his FX series "Legion," although both inhabit the same Marvel universe.
No one has yet been announced to play the masked villain, who's the arch-nemesis of the Fantastic Four. He was played in the 2005 "Fantastic Four" by Julian McMahon and by Toby Kebbell in the disastrous 2015 reboot. Perhaps "Legion" star Dan Stevens will be game?
As for other Hawley projects: "Legion" returns for a second season on FX in 2018 and he just wrapped the third season of "Fargo."
