'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot' Red Band Trailer Is Packed With Familiar Faces
It's finally here -- the trailer for "Jay and Silent Bob Reboot."
Kevin Smith's much-anticipated followup to 2001's "Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back" opens in theaters this fall, so the actor-director unveiled the movie's official red band preview on Thursday. Not only does it show the latest adventures of Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Smith), it's jam-packed with other well-known actors.
The reboot mocks reboots by having the stoner duo once against try to prevent a movie from being made. This time, its a reboot of the "Bluntman and Chronic" movie from the original.
"We've got three days to get to Hollywood and stop this movie from ever happening," Jay says.
Of course, hijinks ensue, and along the way, we see actors who have previously appeared in the View Askewniverse return. The list includes Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Joey Lauren Adams, Jason Lee, Shannon Elizabeth, Jason Biggs, James Van Der Beek, and more. Plus, there are new cameos. Watch below -- and know that it's very, very NSFW.
"Jay and Silent Bob Reboot" opens Oct. 15.
