'How to Train Your Dragon 3' Poster Introduces Toothless' New Lady Friend
"How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" will fly into theaters next March to complete (sniff) the trilogy.
DreamWorks Animation shared a poster for the movie, along with the note that the first trailer will be coming next week:

Fans are analyzing the poster, beyond the obvious look at Toothless with another female Night Fury. Will she be the moon of his life, and he her sun and stars? Too cheesy? They are dragons, after all.
It also looks like they are in the "Hidden World" itself, underground somewhere with ... are those emeralds? Looks a bit like Kryptonite.
Here's the official synopsis, via ScreenRant:
"What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic trilogy spanning their lives. In this next chapter, Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind. As both ascend, the darkest threat they've yet faced—as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury—will test the bonds of their relationship like never before."
Here's the previous synopsis that came out when "How to Train Your Dragon 3" was revealed to be called "The Hidden Kingdom":
"As Hiccup fulfills his dream of creating a peaceful dragon utopia, Toothless's discovery of an untamed, elusive mate draws the Night Fury away. When danger mounts at home and Hiccup's reign as village chief is tested, both dragon and rider must make impossible decisions to save their kind."
Please don't turn this into a Yoko Ono thing where The Girl comes between The Guys. That just makes people hate on The Girl.
This third movie follows "How to Train Your Dragon" in 2010, "How to Train Your Dragon 2" in 2014, and a spinoff series streaming on Netflix.
"How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" opens in theaters March 1, 2019. Trailer next week, aka the first full week of June!
