'Hotel Artemis' Trailer: Sterling K. Brown Checks in to Jodie Foster's Hospital for Criminals
The action-packed new trailer for upcoming thriller "Hotel Artemis" just dropped today, introducing a cool concept and a sprawling cast of characters played by a ridiculously star-studded roster of Hollywood talent.
The titular residence is actually an underground, members-only hospital for criminals, run by the Nurse (Jodie Foster), and adheres to a strict set of rules to keep the peace: no insulting the staff, no weapons, no killing the other patients. But things are disrupted after a heist, led by Waikiki (Sterling K. Brown), results in his friend Honolulu (Brian Tyree Henry) getting shot, and the pair seek out the Hotel Artemis for help.
It turns out that they made off with a pretty valuable object (a pen that just happens to hold $18 million worth of jewels), and now, a criminal mastermind (played by Jeff Goldblum) wants to take it off their hands. It looks like some rules are definitely about to get broken.
"Hotel Artemis" also stars Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Charlie Day, Zachary Quinto, and Jenny Slate. (See, we told you it was star-studded.) It's due in theaters on June 8.
