HBO Shows First Glimpse of 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 (VIDEO)
The Starks are coming! Last night, HBO teased fans with three brief shots from "Game of Thrones" Season 7 -- of Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), and King Jon Snow-Stark-Targaryen (Kit Harington).
At this point, no one seems to have a copy of the actual video, which aired before "Westworld" on Sunday as one of HBO's "Coming in 2017" teasers, as opposed to a "Game of Thrones"-focused promo.
UPDATE: We finally have a YouTube video clip:
Watchers on the Wall linked to a Reddit post that captured the GoT images, complete with pause marks that *probably* won't make the final cut. (But bless that fan for pausing the video and capturing the images for the rest of us.) We see Arya on horseback, Sansa apparently wearing a new wig that no one likes (it looks OK from here), and Jon talking to someone (Sansa?) possibly at Winterfell.
We're definitely looking forward to some Stark reunions in Season 7, even if too much has happened, and too much is still happening, for this group to just be happy and joyful in Winterfell. It'll be enough to see them together again, whenever that happens.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is still filming for a summer 2017 release. Here's hoping a full Season 7 trailer arrives early in 2017. Very early.
