'Haunting of Hill House' Star Mckenna Grace Lands the Lead in New 'Ghostbusters' Movie
Mckenna Grace, who played young Theo on "The Haunting of Hill House," has just been cast as the lead in Jason Reitman's "Ghostbusters" sequel.
She joins already-cast Finn Wolfhard ("Stranger Things"), who'll play her brother, and Carrie Coon ("The Leftovers") as their single mother.
The story, which is a sequel to Ivan Reitman's original '80s movies, is about four teens and their families who (what else?) encounter ghosts.
At only age 12, Grace has already racked up an impressive resumé: She's currently onscreen (briefly) as young Carol Danvers in "Captain Marvel." She also starred in "Gifted" with Chris Evans and played young Tonya Harding in "I, Tonya."
And she plays young Sabrina on Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." Her other TV credits include "Designated Survivor" "Fuller House."
She also stars in the upcoming "Annabelle Comes Home ," the latest film in "The Conjuring" franchise.
In other words, she's a busy, busy girl.
