'Grey's Anatomy' Season 15 Casts 'Nashville' Alum as 'Ortho God'
Goodbye, "Nashville," hello Seattle!
Chris Carmack just finished his six-season run as Will Lexington on ABC's "Nashville." Now he'll scrub in on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" Season 15 as a new orthopedic surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, he's known as an "Ortho God," so ... apparently he's good?
We don't know the character's name yet, but the actor is happy to be joining the team for this recurring role:
"Grey's" co-showrunner Krista Vernoff called Season 15 the "Season of Love," so now we're wondering who this mystery Ortho God might connect with at Grey Sloan. Any suggestions? Should it be Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), or should she hold out for Scott Speedman to return?
Camilla Luddington recently told TVLine that Jo Wilson might find her specialty this season, so maybe that's connected to orthopedics? Guess we'll find out.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 15 is now taping, and will have a two-hour premiere on Thursday, September 27 from 8 to 10 p.m. on ABC.
