'Games of Thrones' Michiel Huisman Will Star in 'Haunting of Hill House'
Game of Thrones" and "Orphan Black," will headline the Netflix horror series "The Haunting of Hill House."
The 1959 Shirley Jackson novel has already been adapted as the elegant 1963 classic "The Haunting" and that laughably awful, CGI-filled 1999 remake of the same name.
According to THR, in the new series, Huisman will play Steven Crane, whose books about the supernatural include a memoir of his family's experiences living at the notoriously haunted Hill House. THR previously reported that 10 episodes have been ordered for the series, which doesn't yet have a premiere date.
If Huisman's name still doesn't ring a bell, the Dutch actor starred as Daenerys love interest Daario Naharis on "Game of Thrones," Sarah (Tatiana Maslany)'s ex-lover Cal on "Orphan Black," Liam McGuinnis on "Nashville" and Sonny on "Treme."
His film roles include "The Age of Adaline" and "The Invitation."
