Brace yourselves, "Game of Thrones" fans.

While Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) has been going on about the series ending the way that it should, with all of the pieces fitting -- even amid big surprises -- Kit Harington is being much more Jon Snow-like. He's already brooding over the winter coming -- the winter of discontented fans.

Because let's be honest: Nothing will please every single "Game of Thrones" fan.

Kit Harington is out there promoting "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan," talking about masculinity and homosexuality, and of course answering questions on the final season of "Game of Thrones."

MTV News asked him about the high expectations for GoT's final Season 8.

MTV: "Do you feel like what you guys have shot can possibly live up to the imaginations and minds of the fans of the show?"

Kit Harington: "I hope so. I think a TV series that’s spanned eight, nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end. I think not everyone’s going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone. My favorite TV shows are 'The Sopranos,' 'Breaking Bad' and 'The Wire' and they all ended in a way that I -- that you know, it's never going to satisfy you."

MTV then jokingly asked if "Game of Thrones" ends in a diner like the last shot of "The Sopranos."

"The Sopranos" ending wasn't the most popular -- like the "Seinfeld" ending, among others. "Breaking Bad," though -- if "Game of Thrones" can stick the landing as well as "Breaking Bad" they're doing very well. Who wasn't satisfied by that? Plus, it got its own prequel spinoff, just like "Game of Thrones."

You could do a lot worse than Walter White's ending.

We'll see what "Game of Thrones" has in store for its final six episodes starting ... well, we don't know yet, beyond "the first half of 2019." Think the end of that first half, though, as opposed to the beginning. Like May/June.
