"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is a lot like Lyanna Mormont and the 62 warriors of Bear Island: Don't let the small size fool you; there's plenty of power in those few numbers, and they're all ready to kick some arse.

Season 7 just finished filming for a summer premiere on HBO. That is later than usual, and the episode count will be shorter than usual -- just seven episodes instead of the usual 10. But Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) told Mashable the 2017 season will not feel smaller:

"I'm just in awe of how everybody's managing to fit as much as there is into seven episodes, because it doesn't necessarily feel like a normal season, it feels bigger." He added, "I think, and this is true of Season 6, you can feel that things are coming to a close. It's all getting a bit much. The show's kind of like a pressure cooker ... It's just absolute chaos."

Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) added to Mashable:

"It's gonna be a crazy season. It's definitely going to blow a lot of people's minds. It's still the same running theme; characters that haven't crossed each other's paths before will do, and they're gonna take it even further this time. People have loyalties that they have to examine."

The actors now only have one season left to shoot, Season 8, which is also expected to be shorter than usual, and reportedly starts taping in September. A few stars -- including Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Liam Cunningham (Davos) -- have spoken of returning to film Season 8, which suggests their characters survive what's ahead in the penultimate season.

HBO has yet to reveal the official premiere date for "Game of Thrones" Season 7, but that's probably coming relatively soon, along with the first trailer.
