'Game of Thrones' Fame Has a Surprising Drawback for Jacob Anderson
A role on "Game of Thrones" seems like it would be a dream come true for any actor, but that is not to say there are no downsides.
Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm on the hit HBO drama series, knows this well. The actor recently chatted with the U.K.'s Daily Mail and revealed that his role comes with at least one drawback. Apparently, he gets asked way too many genitalia-related questions.
"I get penis questions every single interview I do," he told the publication.
Playing a eunuch, it seems, makes people want to talk about sex organs. And to an extent, we get it. Grey Worm's relationship with Missandei (Nathalie Emmaneul) has been heating up, so there is bound to be curiosity. That said, there are other definitely other fascinating topics he is well qualified to weigh in on, like the Unsullied army's push into Westeros.
For Anderson's sake, we hope his character has some exciting storylines in the coming season so that he can focus on more than just Grey Worm's genitals -- or lack thereof.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 premieres July 16 on HBO.
