'Game of Thrones' Star Calls Jon and Dany Situation 'Very, Very Dangerous'
We could use a Three-Eyed Raven right about now to answer our burning "Game of Thrones" questions, and luckily for us, Isaac Hempstead Wright is again playing that role. The actor recently spoke to CinemaBlend about where Season 7 left us, including the awkward situation involving Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
The finale left us with a big revelation courtesy of Bran Stark (Hempstead Wright) and Samwell Tarly (John Bradley). With their combined insight, they realized that Jon and Daenerys -- who were in the midst of consummating their relationship -- are related. The information changed the game, surprising even Bran, who has been mostly unflappable since becoming the Three-Eyed Raven. Hempstead Wright discussed his character's reaction, namely the fact that he thinks "this is going to be very, very dangerous."
While some fans were extremely put off by the incest factor, Hempstead Wright says that won't be Bran's biggest concern.
"What will bother Bran more is the fact that it could end up being a very, very tricky situation with this new queen and the person who's actually the king and they're in love," he said.
Bran actually took the information well considering that the last time he uncovered an incestuous couple it led to a near-death experience. Hopefully, things will turn out better for everyone involved this time.
"Game of Thrones" Season 8 is expected to premiere in 2019.
