It's no surprise that people are excited about "Frozen 2," yet we're still blown away by a record the film recently set.

Disney released a teaser trailer for the sequel on Wednesday, and in the first 24 hours, the video easily snagged the record for the most-watched animated film trailer. It reached 116.4 million views, according to Disney, which is nearly 3 million more than the previous record-holder, "Incredibles 2." The latter film took the record in 2017 with 113.6 million views.

Disney shared its good news in a tweet Thursday, thanking fans for making the achievement possible.

"Frozen 2" will continue the adventures of sisters Elsa (Idina Menzel) and Anna (Kristen Bell) as well as woodsman Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and snowman Sven (Josh Gad), and the teaser trailer offers an exciting first look.
