Singer and former Disney Channel star Demi Lovato is said to be "awake and with her family" after a suspected overdose on Tuesday.

TMZ first reported that Lovato was rushed to the hospital from what appeared to be a heroin overdose at her Hollywood Hills home; that was what they were told from law enforcement sources. She was said to be unconscious when paramedics arrived. Lovato was treated with Narcan, an emergency treatment for opioid overdoses. However, a "source" close to Demi later told TMZ she did not overdose on heroin. They didn't clarify on the drug or drugs she did take.

Social media was flooded with prayers and support for the star.

Fox announced that tonight's (Tuesday, July 24) planned episode of "Beat Shazam" featuring Demi Lovato in a guest appearance would be replaced with another new episode. In Fox's statement, they added, "Our thoughts go out to Demi and her family."

Demi Lovato's planned concert in Atlantic City on Thursday was also canceled.

Demi Lovato recently released a song called "Sober," revealing her struggle with addiction and recent relapse:

“To the ones who never left me / We’ve been down this road before / I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore."

She opened up about her past drug use and rehab in the YouTube documentary "Simply Complicated."
