First 'Station 19' Trailer Features Familiar 'Grey's Anatomy' Faces
Station 19 is located just three blocks away from Grey Sloan.
ABC's latest "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff -- called "Station 19," because "Seattle Fire" sounds too much like an NBC show -- just shared its first teaser and trailer. We know Jason George (Dr. Ben Warren) is the main crossover character, but previous photos also showed Ellen Pompeo's Dr. Meredith Grey. So we know she will appear in at least one episode.
The first promo and trailer feature both Ben and Meredith -- with Mer telling spinoff lead Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) to "Put your game face on."
The teaser came out first:The full official trailer premiered during the February 1 episode of "Grey's Anatomy":Here's the "Station 19" synopsis from ABC:
"The latest series from the executive producers of 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Scandal' and 'How to Get Away with Murder,' follows a group of heroic firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19 – from captain to newest recruit – as they risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock. These brave men and women are like family, literally and figuratively, and together they put their own lives in jeopardy as first responders to save the lives of others."
Ben Warren switching careers again clearly upsets his wife Miranda Bailey, whose health breakdown was the focus of the Thursday, Feb. 1 episode of "Grey's."
According to ABC, the "Station 19" series premiere will be called "Invisible To Me," airing Thursday, March 22 at 9 p.m. The show will continue to follow "Grey's Anatomy" every Thursday.
