Final 'Rogue One' Trailer Is Coming in October
Bits and pieces of footage from "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" are being slowly released. We've gotten a full trailer, some TV spots, and a behind-the-scenes clip and fans hungry for more will get a treat in October — the final trailer.
According to Star Wars News, a Russian marketing director revealed at the Kino Expo International in St. Petersburg that the final "Rogue One" trailer will debut in front of Marvel's "Doctor Strange." The latter movie opens in Russia on October 28 and in the U.S. on November 4.
That makes a lot of sense, as Lucasfilm and Marvel are corporate siblings under Disney. And last year, the final trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" also hit in October, in time for advance ticket sales.
Perhaps the final trailer will give fans more than just a brief glimpse at Darth Vader, as the first trailer did (we can hope). "Rogue One" opens in theaters December 16.
