Out with the old, and in with the new.

Just days ago, we got our first look at "Doctor Who" Season 11 via a teaser, and now the first trailer is here. Like the shorter promo, it embraces everything that's new about the upcoming season -- faces, worlds, and times. The trailer also promises fans that the season "is going to be fun" via a line from the 13th Doctor, Jodie Whittaker.

The Doctor's most recent regeneration came in the 2017 Christmas special, meaning former star Peter Capaldi passed the baton to Whittaker. She's the series' first female doctor, and her co-stars are newbies, too. Whittaker is joined by Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill, and Bradley Walsh, who will serve as the her character's companions.

Fans will have some adjusting to do this season, as they always do after a regeneration, but from what we've seen so far, it's going to be an exciting new adventure.
