When Does 'Doctor Who' Season 11 Premiere? The Time Has Finally Been Revealed
The suspense is finally over: The "Doctor Who" Season 11 premiere time has been announced.
Ever since the BBC revealed the date of the show's return without the time, Whovians have been left in limbo. Now, however, we can all adjust our plans for that day accordingly. The first episode of "Doctor Who" Season 11 will air at 1:45 p.m. ET/PT on BBC America. That coincides with its U.K. broadcast, which will occur simultaneously at 6:45 p.m. BST on BBC One.
The official "Doctor Who" Twitter account posted the premiere times, teasing that "the adventure begins."
Not coincidentally, the premiere overlaps with New York Comic-Con 2018. The new Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, is participating in a panel alongside showrunner Chris Chibnall and executive producer Matt Strevens, and fans will have the chance to watch the episode immediately beforehand in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
If you miss the first broadcast, you'll have another chance to watch the "Doctor Who" Season 11 premiere that same day. BBC America will air the episode again on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, its regular time slot.
