A discount preorder deal for the forthcoming Disney+ streaming service crashed the Disney fan club website.

Regular pricing on Disney Plus is set at $6.99 a month. The D23 preorder deal bundled three years of service for fan club members at $140.97, which comes out to $3.92 a month.

Membership in the D23 fan club is free (with paid levels that include special perks).

Demand for the discount was so high, the D23 website's servers briefly crashed yesterday.

Disney Plus is set to launch on November 12 with series and movies including the "Star Wars" spinoff "The Mandalorian" and the live-action remake of "Lady and the Tramp."
