First 'Deadwood: The Movie' Trailer Is Full of Suspense
At long last, HBO has given us the first trailer for "Deadwood: The Movie," complete with the film's premiere date.
The teaser dropped Thursday, bringing fans back to South Dakota in the late 1880s, ahead of its May 31 debut. The movie picks up 10 years after the original series' end, but the new trailer will pull you in even if you weren't already a fan. There is plenty of suspense and a taste of the action, which isn't surprising considering the synopsis. It says, "Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds are reopened, as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought."

Meanwhile, Jade Pettyjohn has joined as a new cast member.
