Daniel Radcliffe Reacting to 'Harry Potter' Memes Is Just Brilliant
Daniel Radcliffe will never -- never -- not be Harry Potter.
He has made so many other movies by now, and he's become quite a Broadway star. But he was just on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," trying to promote his new play "The Lifespan of a Fact," and he was asked to react to Harry Potter memes.
He does get to talk about his play, starting around the 2:50 mark of the video below. But first, Jimmy Fallon had to talk Potter. Daniel Radcliffe said he's seen a few Harry Potter memes out there, but he doesn't exactly seek them out.
So watch the video to see him react to memes like "Hairy Pugger" -- "What's not to like? That's great" -- and "If you're havin' Quidditch problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a snitch ain't one."
Dan really liked that one:
"What's cool about that stuff is, as a kid I was insecure, I never felt cool at any point playing that character. So [these memes show] people thought I was pretty cool."
The audience cheered. Of course we all found him cool. Who didn't want that Hogwarts life?
Watch the video to see him react to a few more memes; he also explained what he was actually thinking in one photo of himself -- not as Harry -- that became its own meme. A paparazzo is involved.
It's a shame there wasn't time to get DanRad's reaction to all the "Guns Akimbo" memes from a few months ago. Here's just one:
If you happen to be heading to Broadway, here's how to check out "The Lifespan of a Fact."
