Well, let us tell you something, brother – Hulkamania is about to run wild.

Chris Hemsworth will play wrestling icon Hulk Hogan in a biopic from "The Hangover" director Todd Phillips, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Deals are on the verge of getting signed with Netflix.

The project reunites Phillips and writer Scott Silver, who collaborated on the upcoming "Joker" movie starring Joaquin Phoenix.

Hogan — real name: Terry Gene Bollea — became an international superstar in the '80s as one of the most recognizable figures in the World Wrestling Federation. He rode that fame to movies, television, music, video games, merchandise, and endorsements.

His star began to fall after a sex tape/racist rant scandal that led WWE to cut ties with him in 2015. Hogan entered in a years-long lawsuit against Gawker for defamation and other claims and was awarded $110 million by a jury (which resulted in that website's demise).

The biopic will focus on Hogan's early life — his origin story, if you will — and will not include the more recent scandal.

Hemsworth can next be seen reprising his role as Thor in "Avengers: Endgame."
