Chris Hemsworth Will Make His 'SNL' Debut on March 7

The God of Thunder is coming down to Earth for a special appearance: "Thor" and "Avengers" star Saturday Night Live."

Hemsworth will make his "SNL" debut on the March 7 episode of the long-running NBC sketch series. He'll be joined by musical guests Zac Brown Band, who are also making their inaugural "SNL" appearance.

Hemsworth's episode will be preceded by host Dakota Johnson's installment on February 28. She's also making her hosting debut, with Alabama Shakes returning to the "SNL" stage as second-time musical guests.

This weekend's episode will be the first new installment since the splashy "SNL 40" special aired earlier this month.
