"Avengers: Endgame" is still unstoppable: The fourth "Avengers" film earned an impressive $145 at the domestic box office during its second weekend in theaters, bringing its domestic total to $619 million.

And it's now the second-biggest movie of all time with $2.188 billion worldwide. Not surprisingly, it's the fastest film to gross $2 billion globally, in just 11 days. "Avatar" took 47 days to reach that milestone.

"Endgame"'s second-weekend take dusted "Avengers: Infinity War"'s $114 million. However, the biggest second weekend of all time still belongs to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," with $149 million.

IMAX theaters account for $170 million of tickets sold globally, while just under $1 billion has come from 3D screenings. Only two films in history — "Avatar" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" — have earned over a billion dollars from the 3D format. "Endgame" is well on its way to joining that club, especially since audiences have given it a rare "A+" CinemaScore.

Of the batch of new films in theaters, "The Intruder" fared the best. It debuted in second place with $11 million. The psychological thriller stars Michael Ealy and Meagan Good as a couple who purchase their dream home, only to be harassed by the unhinged previous owner (Dennis Quaid).

The well-reviewed R-rated comedy "Long Shot," starring Seth Rogen as a journalist who hooks up with presidential candidate Charlize Theron, grabbed the No. 3 spot with $10 million from 3,230 screens. Audiences gave it a "B" CinemaScore.

The animated film "UglyDolls" scored well with audiences (who gave it a "B+" CinemaScore), but critics hated it. The harshest review came from the San Francisco Chronicle: "'UglyDolls' is a mind-numbing, low-rent version of 'Toy Story,' with saccharine songs and a plot with echoes of, no kidding, the Holocaust." Ouch. The film, which has a $45 million budget, took in only $8.5 million from 3,652 venues.
