Being Queen Looks Miserable in Netflix's New 'Crown' Trailer
Prepare to have your childhood fantasies ruined.
Life as a monarch looks far from pleasant in Netflix's new trailer for "The Crown." Called "2 Worlds," the preview focuses on the personal challenges Queen Elizabeth II (Claire Foy) faced in the early years of her reign. Chief among them seem to be her marriage to her husband, Prince Philip (Matt Smith), and dealing with the relationship between her sister, Princess Margaret (Vanessa Kirby), and a divorced man. It'd be a lot for anyone to deal with -- let alone someone who just took the throne.
The series, in which Netflix has invested heavily, promises "a world full of intrigue and revelations" as we follow the queen's reign. Based on the trailer, we'll see forbidden love, family strike, political dealings, a tug-of-war between duty and desire, and more.

"The Crown" hits Netflix on Nov. 4 with 10 one-hour episodes.
