Ariana Grande's 'Thank U, Next' Video Pays Homage to 'Mean Girls,' 'Legally Blonde,' 'Bring It On'
Hail Ariana Grande, chick flick queen.
The pop star released a music video for her hit song "Thank U, Next" and it's filled with tributes to romantic comedies like "Mean Girls,""Legally Blonde,""13 Going on 30," and "Bring It On."
Grande inserts herself into memorable scenes from those movies and also includes several key lines.
The video also boasts several celebrity cameos. "Mean Girls" actors Jonathan Bennett and Stefanie Drummond reprise their roles, as does "Legally Blonde" actress Jennifer Coolidge (who gamely performs the bend and snap once again).
Grande's former "Victorious" co-star Matt Bennett also makes an appearance in a version of the teeth brushing scene from "Bring It On." And Kardashian matriarch Kris Jennifer plays a very excited mom during the "Mean Girls" Christmas dancing scene.
Grande's song references several of her past relationships, including her infamous engagement to "Saturday Night Live" performer Pete Davidson.
