'Ant-Man' Star T.I. Calls Wolverine the Best Superhero

Ant-Man can shrink to the size of a real-life ant and just like the insect that bares his namesake, he can utilize its ability to lift more than 5,000 times its own weight.

And while those skills are impressive to many, it fails to impress T.I., who stars as Dave opposite Paul Rudd as the titular hero in “Ant-Man.”

Speaking to Made in Hollywood alongside his co-stars Michael Pena and David Dastmalchian, the rapper-actor reveals why “X-Men’s” immortal, metallic-claw wielding Wolverine is his favorite Marvel universe hero.

“Because he travels through different time periods and he has so many different loves of his life,” T.I. says, eliciting laughs from Pena and Dastmalchian. “In different generations he falls in love with different people.”

He adds: “I guess the claws are cool.”

The action-comedy co-stars Michael Douglas, who serves as Rudd’s character’s mentor, and Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll and Bobby Cannavale, opened July 17.
