Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence Top Our List of Oscar Host Duos
Billy Crystal famously arrived on the Oscar stage on a horse. Imagine Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence topping that by cruising in on a jet ski.
For that reason alone Made in Hollywood nominates Hollywood's hottest BFFs as the host duo whom Academy Award producers say they want for the big show on Feb. 28, 2016.
Plus they'd be funny, edgy, glamorous, fresh and dangerously unpredictable -- all qualities the three-hour-plus program desperately needs.
But if Jlaw and Amy (Jamy?) can't clear their schedules, we offer these other suggestions:
Amy Poehler and Tina Fey
You may not remember who won Golden Globes the last couple of years, but you certainly remember the hosts. They are the gold standard for Hollywood emceeing. And while Fey said a couple of years ago she didn't want the Oscar gig, maybe she could be talked out of it.
Donald Trump and Kanye West
Pundits gripe that the presidential race has devolved into a reality show, so why not go all in and put the current and potentially future candidates on the world's biggest TV stage? And imagine whose acceptance speech Kanye would crash this time.
Anne Hathaway and Anybody But James Franco
She sings, she dances, she's funny and smart -- let's give Anne another shot at showing what she really could have done in 2011 without being held back by Franco's bad buzz.
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris
Hollywood's hottest power couple after Brad and Angelina (whom we just can't see as hosts), the stars of "Jurrasic World" and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" would bring goofy charm and a touch of romance to the stage.
John Michael Higgins and Elizabeth Banks
Can you say 'A Scarpella?'
