"The Walking Dead" is multiplying once again on AMC.

The network has officially ordered another spinoff of its zombie hit drama, which launched "Fear the Walking Dead" in 2015.

The announcement comes a week after the flagship's Season 9 finale, which was the lowest rated in series history.

The new untitled series, which received a 10-episode order, was co-created by "Walking Dead" universe chief content officer Scott M. Gimple and longtime writer Matt Negrete. The latter will serve as showrunner.

Negrete and Gimple collaborated on the Season 9 episode, "What Comes After," that marked the last appearance of star Andrew Lincoln, who will reprise his role as Rick Grimes in three TV movies on AMC.

It's unclear if the new spinoff is connected to Rick or those movies, or if it'll feature any current universe characters.

AMC did reveal that the series will center on two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as viewers know it.

Here's the official logline: "Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad."

Production begins this summer in Virginia for a 2020 premiere.
