Tom Holland is about to be catapulted to superstardom. The 21-year-old Brit is taking on the iconic role of Peter Parker in "Spider-Man: Homecoming," which hits theaters July 7. 1. British Born
Tom Holland was born on June 1, 1996 in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, England.
2. Good Genes
Tom's father, Dominic Holland, made a name for himself as broadcaster, comedian, and author. His mother, Nicola Frost, is a photographer.
3. Big Bro
Tom is the eldest of three younger brothers named Sam, Harry, and Patrick.
4. Class Act
Holland attended the famous BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology. Other notable BRIT alums include Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Kate Nash, and Ashley Madekwe.
5. West End Star
After eight auditions and two years of training, Holland made his theatrical debut in "Billy Elliot the Musical" back in June of 2008. Initially, he portrayed Billy's best friend and later went on to wow audiences in the title role.
