Tire Tracks

"Tire Tracks," a 30-minute long documentary, explores the practice of "burning rubber" with a vehicle to make clouds of smoke, piercing squeals, and bold black marks on the road - a nuisance to some and a way of life for others all across rural America. Filmed on Deer Isle, off the Downeast coast of Maine, with the help and collaboration of the film's subjects, "Tire Tracks" offers an insiders view of this very American pastime.
