GPS was created in a small conference room at the Pentagon over Labor Day Weekend in 1973. The decisions they made at that meeting has impacted your life in ways they could not have imagined. Without GPS, there would be no internet, no online banking, and no cell phones. Everything from farming to transportation to emergency services has benefited from GPS. But it almost never happened.
