The Story of Arion and the Dolphin

Based on a Greek legend, this is the story of Arion, the young musician whose life is saved by a dolphin, and of a friendship between the two that ends when the dolphin is captured and dies. Told in a mixture of prose and verse, the text is adapted from the libretto of an opera of the same name.
