A rebellious teen threatened with expulsion from school is offered an alternative an experimental program in which she would counsel troubled children Initially rebelling from the concept she finds that her involvement lets her confront her own angers and eventually her family including a loving grandmother With the help of a new friend she eventually turns away from her troublemaking boyfriend and makes a new life
