These two films revolve around the threat posed by mutant crocodiles in a swampy, tropical region. In the first film, a group of environmental activists arrives in a remote tropical delta where toxic waste is being dumped. They discover a colossal crocodile lurking in the waters, killing unsuspecting victims. The local authorities, corrupt and negligent, fail to protect the people from the monster. The sequel continues the theme, this time with a focus on a new monstrous crocodile wreaking havoc on a resort community, killing anyone unfortunate enough to be near the water.
