Renowned director Olga Malířová Špátová filmed Karel Gott for a whole year, and thanks to his frank openness, an unusually personal and intimate view of the life of the famous singer was created, which has not been available to the general public or to his staunch supporters. At the same time, it does not lack Karl's famous insight and humor. The documentary Karel Špecial by director Olga Malířová Špátová brings an interesting insight into the private life of the music legend. He interprets the confession at the very end of the artist's life with images of the young singer at the start of his musical career. The unique documentary captures Karel Gott in several situations spent in the company of his colleagues, and above all with his wife Ivana, daughters Charlotte and Nelly, but also with his grandchildren.
