DORMANCY (2021)

This film is an artistic documentation of the huge wildfires around Athens in the summer of 2021. It examines the destruction of nature caused in particular by extreme summer droughts and man-made fires that reached unprecedented levels globally and locally with lasting consequences on Earth. The video focuses on the deep traces left in the landscape and should stir up a spark of hope.
