Yudhistira Bayu Biography
He is an amateur short film director from Indonesia who made his debut in 2017, while he was still in college. His love for film was passed down from his late grandfather, who enjoyed watching and reviewing action films, and his own hobby of exploring many films and Japanese manga since childhood. Under the banner of his production house Nightskies Features (formerly Nightskies Pictures), he has written and directed genre films that have been shown on YouTube and in several international independent short film festivals, some of which have won awards.
He also cited many Japanese films and directors like Koji Shiraishi, Takashi Shimizu, and Dario Argento as major influences on his work.
