Vlad Avdeev Biography
Vladislav Igorevich Avdeev (born 23 March 2001) is a Russian director, screenwriter, producer, actor. His director's debut work was the short film "Maw", which received mixed reviews from critics, including positive ones for its bold approach to highlighting current issues and its thought-provoking surrealism. Prior to this, he created advertising and presentation videos about bulldozers for companies and universities.
The director's film style combines elements of psychological suspense, metachtonic protothriller, horror and art-house, reminiscent of the later works of other directors such as David Lynch, Terry Gilliam, M. Night Shyamalan, and others.
