Stefan Bellof Biography
Stefan Bellof, born on November 20, 1957, in Gießen, Germany, was a highly talented German racing driver known for his remarkable speed and potential. He competed in Formula One for Tyrrell and made a name in sports car racing with Porsche. Bellof set the Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record in 1983, a feat that remains legendary in motorsport history.
Tragically, his career was cut short when he died in an accident during the 1985 1000 km of Spa race. Bellof is remembered as one of the most promising drivers of his generation, admired for his fearless driving style and natural talent.
