İrfan Tözüm Biography
İrfan Tözüm was born on January 1, 1951 in Erzurum Tekman. While studying in high school, he took his first step into cinema by working as an assistant to director Duygu Sağıroğlu during summer holidays in 1966 and 1967. He worked as a journalist, director of photo novels and commercial films for many years. In 1984, he made his first feature film "Birkaç Güzel Gün İçin".
But even though he left the movie before it was over, his friends who finished it wrote his name. He founded Muhteşem Film in 1986. He shot the movie "Çağdaş Bir Köle" in 1986. Among the films he has directed are successful productions such as Rumuz Goncagül, Devlerin Ölümü, Cazibe Hanımın Gündüz Düşleri, Kız Kulesi Aşıkları, Mum Kokulu Kadınlar.
