RAZA TARIQ IS A POLYMATH FROM LONDON, WITH A BACKGROUND IN WRITING AND DIRECTING FILM AND AN EXPANDED AND MORE RECENT BASING IN A BROADER ARTISTIC PRACTICE. HIS WORK INTERFACES WITH CLASSICAL IDEAS OF ISLAMIC SPIRITUALITY THROUGH CONTEMPORARY DESIGN. HE DECIDED TO BE A FILMMAKER AT THE AGE OF ELEVEN AND MADE HIS MAJOR SHORT FILM DEBUT AT FIFTEEN. HIS WORK HAS SUBSEQUENTLY SCREENED AT FESTIVALS AROUND THE WORLD AND BEEN RELEASED VIA NUMEROUS NOTABLE PLATFORMS.
