Pirjo Jonas Biography
Pirjo Jonas (until 2015 Pirjo Püvi; born July 8, 1980) is an Estonian opera singer (coloratura soprano) and actress. Since 2010, she has been an opera soloist at the Vanemuine Theater. Jonas has collaborated with such conductors as Nikolai Aleksejev (Russia), Anu Tali, Toomas Siitan, Lauri Sirp, Ants Soots, Risto Joost, Jüri Alperten, Erki Pehk and Mihkel Kütson.
In 2018, as an actress, she played the central role of Maria in Mart Sander's historical drama series "Litsid" (TV3). In the same year, she played in the TV series "Siberi võmm". In 2019, she starred in the crime comedy series "Kättemaksukontor".
