Peter Berg Biography
Peter Berg was born on October 1, 1937 in Long Island, New York, USA. He died on July 28, 2011 in San Francisco, California, USA. Won a scholarship to the University of Florida at age 16, but dropped out at age 17 and hitchhiked to San Francisco. Championed an environmental movement called "bioregionalism", which stresses identification with one's community, awareness of its natural resources, and restoring those natural resources.
Had a daughter with life partner Judy Goldhaft.
